Bubby was rescued as a kitten from an overcrowded public shelter. As he grew, he started having trouble walking on his back legs. This sweet boy has been diagnosed with bilaterial medial patellar luxation - in other words, his kneecaps aren't where they're supposed to be. The problem will be corrected by surgery. A 'v' cut will be made in each tibia and the knees reattached. This surgery costs over $3,000, and that's with a generous discount given by Puget Sound Animal Hospital for Surgery in Kirkland (our thanks to Drs. Engen and Messinger there).
Donations to help pay for Bubby's surgery are needed. Be an angel and give this exceptionally lovable kitten the chance to pounce and run!

Support Spay/Neuter Legislation
Spay/neuter legislation is being proposed for the 2009 legislative session that will help fund tens of thousands of additional spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs throughout Washington. Purrfect Pals supports this legislation to help prevent animal homelessness and save animals' lives. Your help is essential to getting a bill passed next session.
