Volunteer Job: Photographer/Writer
Location Arlington Shelter
Purpose To document more of our adoptable and less-than-adoptable cats in order to advertise their information on the Purrfect Pals website and others such as Craigslist to promote future adoptions.
Duties
• Take digital photos of shelter cats, using the Purrfect Pals digital camera
• Speak with appropriate staff to learn more about individual cats’ personalities and interesting highlights
• Observe and interact with each cat you photograph
• Write short, interesting and positive stories for each cat
• Upload the photos and stories onto our online database
• Review existing write-ups for spelling errors/ negative portrayals
