Purrfect Endings: Finley

Finley was the runt of a litter of seven kittens that came to Purrfect Pals with their Mom from an overcrowded shelter where they were all scheduled to be euthanized. He would have died had a loving foster ‘parent’ not taken him along with his Mom and healthier litter mates and nursed him back to health. Once he was ready for his forever home, he joined his brothers and sisters at the Purrfect Pals adoption booth at the Mill Creek Festival where a nice couple was showing off their dock dog, Tucker. Tucker already had two kitty ‘brothers’ but as much as he tried to make friends with them, they wouldn’t have anything to do with him.

Tucker and his ‘Dad’, Bryan, discovered the Purrfect Pals Booth where Tucker fell in love with Finley. They sent Tucker’s ‘Mom’, Catrina, over to visit with Finley, and Finley immediately fell in love with her. According to Catrina ‘his little face was so incredibly adorable and on my mind all night long’ that she had to come back the next day and hold him some more. Before the day was over he had found his forever home. He has been in his new home for about six months where he has developed into a beautiful cat with the fluffiest tale imaginable. His people say that Tucker and Finley are inseparable, love to play together, and Tucker loves to give Finley baths. Finley also gives his people lots of attention. According to Catrina, she can be sitting in her recliner ‘and Finley will come running, flip over, land on my laptop upside down, look at me, and say “I’m here”’ Finley believes that you have two hands, and you should use both to shower attention on him. Catrina and Bryan feel like they are a lucky family to have such a loving kitty sharing his life with them. And he loves his big brother Tucker as well as his two kitty brothers who love to nap together with Finley in a ‘kitty pile’.

In this difficult economy Purrfect Pals is being faced with a large number of people needing to surrender their cats as well as an increasing number of abandoned cats needing help. We especially need people to foster adult and senior cats that have had traumatic experiences and need some help getting ready for their forever homes. Please consider providing a temporary home for a cat in need.
